🎯 Goal

Score the most money by answering trivia clues correctly. The player with the highest score at the end wins!

📋 Joining a Game

• Share the room URL with your friends. The first person to join becomes the Host.
• The host controls the game pace — selecting clues, accepting/rejecting answers, and advancing rounds.
• You need at least 2 players to start.

🎮 How a Round Works

• The board shows 6 categories, each with 5 clues at increasing dollar values.
• The active selector chooses a category and value. The clue is read aloud on screen.
• After a brief reading delay, the Buzz Window opens — hit BUZZ IN! as fast as you can.
• The first player to buzz gets to answer. Speak your answer aloud via video chat (e.g. "Who is Abraham Lincoln?").
• All other players then vote using the on-screen buttons: Answered Correctly or Answered Incorrectly.
• If the majority votes Correct, you earn the clue value and become the next selector.
• If the majority votes Incorrect, you lose the clue value and others can still buzz in.
• If nobody answers in time, the host reveals the answer and the selector picks again.

💰 Daily Double

• Hidden on the board are 1 Daily Double (Jeopardy! Round) and 2 Daily Doubles (Double Jeopardy! Round).
• Only the player who selected the clue can answer — no buzzing.
• Before seeing the clue, you must wager any amount up to your full score (minimum $5).
• If your score is $0 or less you may wager up to the round's top value.

📊 Rounds

• Jeopardy! Round — clues worth $200–$1,000.
• Double Jeopardy! Round — clues worth $400–$2,000.
• Between rounds a scoreboard is shown; the host advances to the next round.

🌟 Final Jeopardy!

• One final clue — everyone sees the category and secretly wagers up to their full score.
• All players then type their answer simultaneously before time runs out.
• The host reveals each player's answer and score change one by one.
• The player with the highest score after Final Jeopardy! wins! 🏆

🔗 Tiebreaker

• If two or more players are tied after Final Jeopardy!, a sudden-death buzz-in clue is played.
• First correct answer wins.

💡 Tips

• Answers don't need to be perfectly worded — the host judges correctness and can accept or reject.
• Watch the buzz timer bar; it closes after 5 seconds.
• Negative scores are possible if you buzz in and get it wrong!

🎲 How the question pool works

• Questions are drawn from a shared pool. Once a question has been used in this room, it will not come up again in this room — so a long session keeps serving fresh material.
• The pool is tracked per room. Starting a game in a different room gives you the full pool again, including everything already used here.
• The host can wipe this room's used-question list from 👑 Host Controls → Question Pool, which makes every question available in this room again. That cannot be undone.
